So marching band has begun and things have changed quite a bit from last year. This year promises to be a great one, with my ACC classes, Mr. Jone's Canon Variations (ie. the marching show), and new teachers.. Firstly, some information on what exactly the ACC thing entitles: Bastrop High School and ACC are in a partnership program, as are other schools' close to and around Austin, for students currently in High School and those graduating; students graduating are automatically enrolled at ACC. The new available classes this year are "dual-credit" classes, listed as follows:

• English
• History
• Government
• Economics
• Spanish

I'll be taking History and Economics this year, one first semester and the other second semester; my Senior year will be when I take English and Government with ACC along-side any other classes that I might take. The marching schedule was changed to be a week after Camp Xtreme, so I at least got a week off before having to go straight into practice a day after camp. Which, by the way, was awesome and hopefully the age limit will be raised next year from 18 to 21, which means that you dont have to become a counselor until you turn 22! Went to TIRR today for botox injections in the back of the left calf and upper left leg. In all honesty, it didn't hurt bad at all because of the numbing cream they put on my leg and this new spray that feels almost like liquid-nitrogen is being sprayed on your skin, so all in all, what I felt was the needle being moved around and even that didn't hurt with the medicine they used. After that was over and done with, we went over to rehab and ordered my new wheelchair! My old Colours chair has served its purpose, but it was finally time for a new chair. The new chair is a TiLite ZRa and I cant wait until the end of September to go and pick it up.
