HoodLUG Linux Launch

Finally, a chance to contribute to the Open Source community. I will be doing a presentation April 2 at the Copperas Cove Public Library for the HoodLUG Linux Launch on 3D modeling and Animation with Blender from 5:00-5:50 p.m. I’m a bit nervous cause I get a bit jittery when it comes to public speaking. If anyone wants to come, its available to the public and is free; the directions can be found here. You can check out the Blender Keynote below:

Obviously they don’t contain all the information I’m going to talk about because they are just a suppliment of what I will be presenting. My plans for presenting are some-what like this:

  1. Introduction to Blender (ie. what is it, history, etc..) - 10 minutes
  2. Demonstration - 20 minutes
  3. Questions/Answers - 20 minutes

I’m looking forward to this and volunteering for HoodLUG and the Open Source community and I cannot wait to meet all of those that will be involved!
