Does the world ever stop?
From my older brother's motorcycle accident, to my dad putting in a new house for my brother to stay in, the brother having to be moved from the house to a hospital in San Antonio because Brackenridge (or Brackensucks) doesn't know how to take care of patients with injuries like my brothers…life has been really busy and stressfull. A later post will give the details of the accident if your interested. I'll be gone today and tomorrow in San Antonio and then my grandma and I will go to Houston Tuesday morning for my driving evaluation to find out whether or not I "need" assistance devices for driving because of my injury and unpredictability of what my body is going to do. If they say I should use it, then I can get a prescription for those little driving devices disabled folks get beside their steering wheels! ![]()
I'm so glad that school is out, having to ride with a NASCAR driver in the mornings for school was not my favourite (you dont speed up when people are trying to pass you and you dont stop when you are 5 feet from a stop sign, or 10 feet from a red light at an intersection!) No more English for a few months, no more Physics, no more Mr. "Jerk" Chapman. No…more…BAND! I can't stress how glad I am that band is over for the rest of my life, its like the weight of the world lifted off my shoulders. And btw, Mr. Henry is leaving to Texas A&M Consolidated, so even if he's gone, that still wont change my mind. He did everything he could for my brother and I, but band is not my forte and it just made me angry to be in it.
So to take advantage of my summer, I'm working on getting Canvas working with the K2 theme for WordPress, which isn't hard, but you need to have knowledge of how WordPress themes work before you can convert them to Canvas. With that in mind, making a basic theme of my own by following the theme development guide would help me on my CSS/XHTML/PHP skills (which do need help!). If anyone else has already started on this please email me with info on what you've done so far or if you need some help, etc.
